Suffield ambulance started a E.M.S bike patrol this spring which has 6 members that are trained either as an MRT, EMT-B or EMT-I. Each member wares a yellow shirt with black shorts for visibility and comfort along with a E.M.S pac, with an ambulance supplied radio.
The E.M.S bike patrol supplements the ambulance at large crowd events like soccer tourements, road races, and Suffield
On The Green.We also assist the surrounding towns with large crowd events.
Our future goals consist of 4 EMS bikes, new uniforms and additional training. We are looking forward to the new year and getting out and meeting the people of Suffield .
